THE EAST END COMMUNITY CLUB” 

The October meeting of the East End Community Club will be Wednesday evening, October 10th, 7:00pm at WARC,
1929 East Main St, Waterbury. Guest speaker is Bonnie Orintas, Chairman of Waterbury Litter Control and Beautification
Commission. Bonnie will address litter issues and simple solutions to make our city more presentable.
The meeting will be in the Mary White Conference Room, located on the second floor. The building is handicapped
accessible.
 Community Officer, Charles Corangelo from the Waterbury Police Department will be present to give Waterbury area updates from
the Police Department as well as listening to the concerns of East End residents. Everyone is welcome to attend.

 

The September meeting of the East End Community Club will be held Wednesday evening, September 12th, 7:00pm at WARC,
1929 East Main St, Waterbury in the Mary White Conference Room, located on the second floor. The building is handicapped
accessible.
 Guest speaker will be Kathy Case, Director of Program Management for Waterbury ARC. She will discuss their mission and
services they have available to the public as well as ongoing programs and events.
 Community Officer, Tiffany Healey from the Waterbury Police Department will be present to give Waterbury area updates from
the Police Department as well as listening to the concerns of East End residents. Everyone is welcome to attend.

There are other planters in the East End that need to be adopted.  Those adopting the planters will be responsible for planting and weeding these planters throughout the year

2 at the corner of Meriden and Southmayd Rd

1 at the Corner of Meriden Rd and Beecher Ave

1 at Eastmain St in front of WARC-the old Anderson School

2 in front of the Fire Department.
