Thank You to the WAMS students (Waterbury Arts Magnet School) and the Waterbury Veteran’s Memorial Committee for placing American Flags at the Bond House (corner of Silver-East Main and Meriden Rds) at Hamilton Park.

It was  a joint effort in placing 529 flags honoring the 529 Waterbury Men and Women who served our country and paid the ultimate sacrifice of giving their lives for our country from all conflicts from Independence to the Gulf War on Terror.

Some of the 529  flags surround the Veteran’s

PLACE OF HONOR

where over 100 engraved bricks honor our veterans.  For information on purchasing a brick, see our Brick Project Page or call Terry (203) 574-0519

Let’s honor their sacrifice by living the lives they would be proud of, respectful, honest and  commitmed to make this a better life for all.  FREEDOM IS NOT FREE
